2026 Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade Cruises & Tickets: Everything You Need to Know

It’s one of Southern California’s most beloved holiday traditions, and one of the
best ways to experience it is right from the water.

With 2026 Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade cruises from Davey’s Locker,
you can experience the festivities from inside Newport Harbor instead of watching the
celebration from a single spot along the shoreline.

What Is the Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade?

The Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade is an annual holiday celebration featuring
decorated boats traveling through Newport Harbor.

Everything from yachts and sailboats to smaller vessels joins the festivities,
decked out in elaborate lights, holiday displays, music, and decorations.

But the boats are only part of the show.

Waterfront homes and businesses surrounding the harbor participate in the
Ring of Lights, creating a backdrop of illuminated properties
throughout Newport Beach.

Together, the parade and Ring of Lights turn Newport Harbor into a holiday spectacle.

See the Boat Parade From the Water

There are plenty of places around Newport Beach where you can catch a glimpse of
the parade from shore. But being on the water puts you right in the middle of
the celebration.

A Davey’s Locker Boat Parade cruise travels through Newport Harbor during the
festivities, giving guests views of the decorated boats as well as the illuminated
homes and waterfront displays surrounding the harbor.

Instead of finding parking, claiming a viewing spot, and watching from one location,
you can cruise through the harbor and take in the celebration from different vantage points.

When Is the 2026 Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade?

The official Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade celebration takes place across
five nights during December.

Davey’s Locker offers multiple Boat Parade cruises during the event, making it
possible to choose an evening and departure time that works for your holiday plans.

Because the parade is one of Newport Beach’s most popular events of the year,
advance reservations are highly recommended.

Boat Parade Cruises for Families, Couples & Groups

Whether the Boat Parade is already part of your family’s holiday tradition or
you’re visiting Newport Beach for the first time, seeing it from the water makes
for a memorable December night.

Boat Parade cruises are especially popular for:

• Family holiday outings
• Date nights
• Groups of friends
• Visiting relatives
• Company celebrations
• Holiday parties
• Southern California visitors

For larger groups or private celebrations, private boat rental options may also
be available.

Don’t Miss the Ring of Lights

Even before the first parade boat passes by, there’s plenty to see.

The Ring of Lights brings the shoreline itself into the celebration,
with homes, docks, and waterfront properties competing with elaborate holiday displays.

From the harbor, guests can see both sides of Newport Beach’s holiday tradition:
decorated boats on the water and illuminated properties along the shore.

What If You Can’t Attend During the Boat Parade?

No problem.

Davey’s Locker also offers Holiday Lights Cruises on additional
nights during the holiday season, giving visitors a chance to experience the
Ring of Lights and decorated Newport Harbor even when the official parade isn’t running.

That means you don’t have to fit your entire holiday outing into the five official
Boat Parade nights.
