6-Pack Charter Fishing
Six Pack charter fishing is a private rental for up to 6 people per trip. When fishing for big game in San Diego waters a six person “6-Pack” boat is the preferred choice. If you choose to target tuna or fish the outer waters (offshore) of San Diego, limiting your group to four people “4 -Pack” allows for more room to fight large grade fish. Sportfishing in San Diego
Our Six Pack and Four Pack charters offer several fishing options. Fish local San Diego coastal banks. When fishing near the San Diego coast you will have the opportunity to catch bottom fish like red snapper, halibut, various bass, and maybe sharks. If larger gamefish are what you prefer a 6 Pack and 4 Pack yacht is faster than typical sportfishing rentals. This allows you to fish offshore areas of San Diego near the Mexican border with less travel time. When fishing the outer banks off San Diego you can target Tuna (Bluefin Tuna and Yellowfin Tuna), Yellowtail, Dorado (Mahi Mahi), and possibly Marlin or Swordfish.
Sportfishing North of San Diego
When fishing north of San Diego you have the same options that fishing in San Diego offers, but you also have local islands. San Clemente and Catalina are off the coast just north of San Diego. These islands offer great Yellowtail and White Sea Bass fishing in shallow waters. They also have several other species like Bass, Sheephead, Bonito, and Rockfish that can be targeted. This is a great 6 pack charter option for groups wanting some scenery while fishing large gamefish.

What’s included in your Six Pack and Four Pack rental
All 6 pack and 4 pack fishing rentals include rod and reel rentals (top of the line for fishing big game in San Diego). They also include bait, tackle, and fish cleaning. You can have from one to six passengers on the trip. Price does not include California Fishing Licenses. You may purchase your license online through the state of California or at a retailer prior to your departure. Other items recommended for you to bring are an ice chest with food and beverages for your trip, camera, and sun screen.

Blackfish Sportfishing runs 6 pack and 4 pack fishing charters departing from Davey’s Locker. Blackfish is a 40’ Cabo Flybridge, that cruise at 20+ knots. This fishing machine is rigged with state of the art electronics, plush interior, private bathroom, sleeping accommodations for four, all required safety equipment, plus a professional crew and certified captains who will take you on a trip of a lifetime.
