Meet "Popcorn"! On Sunday, our friends over at @newportcoastaladventure went on a scouting mission where they found a humpback whale and her calf. This exuberant calf breached nearly 100 times in a row!! Photographer, @markgirardeau captured the action and fellow photographer @seataceans dubbed the little whale "Popcorn" for the popcorn-like kernels on it's face (these are commonly found barnacles!) The mother and her calf will continue to travel north towards the feeding area they are known to frequent in Monterey Bay.
