Davey’s Locker six pack boats are perfect for quickly locating and fighting these giant gamefish. Rent from one of three different 6 packs for groups from 1 to 6 persons. Live bait well, latest in fishing electronics, and powerful engines mean quick travel times and more time fishing. Areas that six pack boats fish including Los Angeles, Long Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Catalina Island, And San Clemente Island. 6 pack boat rentals also fish offshore waters targeting tuna, dorado, mako sharks, thresher sharks, and marlin. Choose to keep your catch or practice catch and release.

Davey’s Locker’s six pack fishing boats specialize in marlin fishing from Dana Point to Los Angeles and on out to the waters surrounding Catalina Island covering the greater part of southern California. Striped marlin is the primary marlin species targeted and the best months are from July-October. Trolling with marlin lures and sight fishing with live bait are the most popular techniques. 3-6 marlin a day or more are possible weighing from 130-230 pounds. Most fish are released.
Shark fishing in the waters off Los Angeles and Southern California is a year round fishery. Thresher sharks reaching 500 pounds or more are possible year round. Spring and summer months find huge numbers of 120-220 pound thresher sharks in coastal waters off Newport Beach and Dana Point. Action can be unbelievable with several or more sharks possible in a half day of fishing. Mako sharks are also available primarily from May-October. Wire leaders are a must for these toothy sharks. Makos of 500 pounds of more are possible with the average size 80-120 pounds. Either species can be caught slow trolling a large mackerel or drift fishing near bait concentrations.
