We all know babies learn from their moms. One way baby animals learn is by mimicking their mom’s behaviors. In this “do as I am doing” teaching style, mothers will do a behavior that is then repeated by their baby. This is the humpback whale Chompers and her new calf. Chompers is known for her “chomping” behavior at the surface of the water.
